The Latest News Update:
This is an indoor layout built to provide an opportunity to demonstrate running 16mm scale locomotives and trains at
public events and to assist those who may be interested in
starting in this hobby.
The track layout was in use at Penrhyn Castle Railway Museum during the summer of 2016, further details of which
may be found by clicking HERE.
It is a raised level portable demonstration layout with both
32 and 45mm gauge continuous running circuits.
Please note that live-steam locomotives fired using
meths or coal are not permitted on this layout.
This layout is not provided with an external source of power.

Our Group has prepared a robust risk assessment and method statement (RAMS) for the operation of the layout at public events. This document is updated regularly in the light of experience gained and is available for event organisers and site managers.
